 Dearest reader, Below is a rough idea of what the title design is going to look like! Font/ Color- Bubbly girly, vintage vibe with a dark color and a shadow Our reasoning for this unique choice is that we want the audience to come along with us. They should truly believe that the premise of the movie is a friend group going on a fun trip. Yet to still match the fact that is is a thriller movie, we want subtle clues that hint at an ominous tone.  Size-We will have the main title take up the most space, roles be medium sized, and names/ others be small We want the size of our title to represent its importance. If all the title is the same, nothing will have emphasis. The main title of our movie will obviously be the largest because it is the most important. The rest of the credits will be divided into medium sized with small under it. Saturday Night Fever (Production Blog)

 Dearest reader,  Today, I got the crazy idea to do homework all day and then save editing for the evening. That was a mistake. Despite my exhaustion, my computer was willing to work even if my brain wasn’t. I started by making sure I had all my pictures and video footage uploaded. Luckily everything was on my computer.  I began researching how to drop only certain parts of videos into HitFilm Express. This was quite difficult so I decided to crop the video content on my phone first. My method of editing partially on my phone first proved smart. Editing within the photos app made the process within HitFilm Express easier.  Looking back, using HitFilm Express was likely more of a mistake than a plus. The platform is amazing and provides a lot of tools to make films look really advanced. However, since I had scarcely worked with this before, it was a steep learning curve for a tight turn around. Ready, Set, Not yet...

 Dearest Reader, Today was all about planning. I need to solidify my plans. I also need two actors for my music video.  I started by working with my friends Kyra and Marvin. They both agreed to take a role in the music video. Kyra will be my best friend who is sitting with me during frame 7. Marvin will be my ex-boyfriend that I'll need to be in the photos for frames 1,2,3 and 4. Marvin will also be in frame 5 when I am dancing with him.  I had to discuss days that would work with their schedules to film. Things were looking a little bit tricky because I am going out of town this weekend and my friends are going out of town the weekend before the due date for this project. We decided that this Friday was the best time for all of us to film. Luckily I only needed them for two frames and a few photographs. This means I should be able to get everything done to my standards even though we would have had school that morning. This gave me plenty of time to make any corrections ...
